Meet the Musicians
Welcome! We are Keshava, a chanting musical group.
Kirtan is devotional singing accompanied by musical instruments.
It is an ancient Vedic form of chanting based on a call and response style
which includes both the musicians and the audience.
Kirtan is a way to open one's heart by singing the names of the Divine.
The chants usually begin slowly and build steadily to a high energy level.

Keshava is another name for Krishna, literally it means the destroyer of evil.
In Vedic culture Krishna is an Avatar of Vishnu who is the Sustainer of Creation.
